Here are this weeks:

1. Song – Stonebridge – If You Like It ft. Elsa Li Jones

He is a Swedish DJ named Sten Hallstrom, better know as Stonebridge.  Amid many previous of songs, this one stands out as his first ever Billboard No. 1.  I’ve had the pleasure of posting his mixshow Stonebridge Saturdays on many occasions and have even gone as far as contacting the talented DJ/producer to inquire and receive some of his exclusive remixes.  Congrats Stonebridge on you first Billboard No 1!

2.  Video – Light It Up (Remix) – Major Lazer

I enjoyed this video since attending a recent Toastmasters conference for it’s diversity, cultural significance and message.  It’s an organization that brings together many people, no matter their race.  One thing that is amazing about music, is that it brings together humans, through dance and song.  The poem and its translation can be found here: Kae (Remember).

3. Mixshow – The Do You Breakfast Show – Prince Tirbute

With death of recording artist Prince, came many tributes and reminders of his talent.  He was a master at defining music that strayed from the norm.  His talent was unheralded yet can be seen through all the admiration and discussions since his passing.  This was one of many shows that i tuned in to here some of his most wonderful recordings.
